For months, I’ve searched for the perfect bag only to ended up frustrated and unexpectedly bagless. I wanted a bag not too small, but also not too big. Structured but not overpowering. Affordable but not cheap looking… I could go on. I wanted a perfect bag that in essence, it can’t exist unless I discover a handbag manufacturer specialized in magic bags.
the truth is Handbags like most things, are in our life to fit a purpose and an occasion and depending on one’s lifestyle you need more or less. And it’s time for me to accept it because spending time deciding what is essential and what’s frugal in order to fit everything in my only bag is just not how I want to spend my extra 10 minutes in the morning – I did try the tote bag thig, until I almost smashed my one-month-old iPad pro into a wall, not doing it again.
You may say, so… are you going from one handbag to six more? No. this is an essay about the psychology of the handbag – insert smirk face.
